Location:

- Is Mooloolaba beach suitable for kids?
Yes, Mooloolaba beach is one of the safest in Australia situated in a bay.  The beach is located 100 metres in front of the resort and is patrolled by life savers all year round.

- What are the nearest Airports to Caribbean Resort?
The Sunshine Coast Airport is only 20 mins by car and Brisbane Airport is 1hour by car.

- How close is the shopping?
The Esplanade has dozens of boutiques to keep you busy plus one of Queensland’s largest shopping centres, Sunshine Plaza is only 10 minutes away with over 220 specialty stores, dining and cinemas.

- What restaurants are nearby?
There are over 50 restaurants, cafes, bars and pubs within walking distance. Plus the Mooloolaba Surf Club and Mooloolaba Bowls Club which offer great club meals.

- Is there public transport?
Yes. The local bus service stops conveniently around the corner while the Australia Zoo bus pick up point is just a short walk away. 


Facilities:

- Are cots & high chairs available?
Yes we can arrange hire of cots & any other baby equipment, please contact our staff for prices.

- Is parking included and what is the height clearance of the car park?
Our basement car park is free of charge for all guests and has a maximum height of 2.13m.  For higher vehicles, we have limited off-street parking so please contact the resort to pre-book your spot.

- What if we have more than one car?
In most cases we are able to provide parking for a second vehicle in our basement carpark.

- Is there WiFi in the resort?
Yes, we have free WiFi for all guests of 200mb per day.  Additional data can be purchased from reception.

- Are beach towels available for hire?
Yes. $5 per towel for your stay.

- Do you have a babysitting service?
We recommend a local, accredited babysitting service which we can put you into contact with prior to your arrival or any time during your stay.

- What equipment is in the gym?
Our gym has been recently refurbished with new equipment including: exercise bike, treadmill, rowing machine, cross-trainer and weight station.

- Does the Caribbean have a Business Centre?
During office hours reception will be happy to assist with your business needs.


Apartments:

- Do I have to bring my own linen?
No, linen is supplied.

- Is the apartment serviced daily?
No. The apartments are serviced mid-stay when booking for 8 days or more. Additional servicing is available for a fee.

- Are all the apartments Air Conditioned / Heated?
Yes, all the apartments have an reverse cycle air conditioner in the living area.

- Disabled Facilities
We do not have any apartments specifically for disabled guests however all our apartments are accessible by lift and most apartments have a walk in shower.

- TV – What channels do you offer?
All regular digital channels plus 
Fox Sports 1, Fox Sports 2, Fox Sports 3, Fox Footy, Premiere Movies, Action Movies, Cartoon Network & Sky News.

- Do you provide amenities?
On arrival you will have in your apartment a range of toiletries, detergents for dishwasher, dishwashing and laundry. Replacements are available from reception for a nominal charge or you can easily top up from local supermarkets.

- Can we arrange for an extra person to stay in the apartment?
You may have one extra person in the apartment at a charge of $20 per night – a rollaway bed is provided. This needs to be arranged with reception prior to arrival.


Bookings & Check-ins:

- Is reception open 24 hours?
No, but we have a 24 hour answering service for our guests and enquiries. We also have an on-site manager on call 24 hours a day.

- What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is 2pm, check-out is 10am.

- How do we check in after the reception has closed?
We have an after-hour procedure for late arrivals. There is a secure box where we will put your keys and room information. Please contact reception to advise your estimated arrival time and our friendly staff will assist you.

- What happens if we arrive before check in time?
You are welcome to park your car in our car park (or leave any luggage with us at reception) and take advantage of our facilities or local eateries while you wait for your room. Reception will contact you by phone when your room is ready.

- Can I arrange for late checkouts or early check-ins?
Yes. Charges may apply and must be approved by reception.

- Is a security bond required?
Upon arrival a security bond of $200 is required by credit card pre-authorisaton or cash bond.

- If we can’t see the dates or apartment type we are looking for online is it definitely not available?
Not necessarily. For various reasons it is not always possible to have every combination of offer online – please give us a call, we may be able to move something around and meet your request.

- Do you handle group bookings and would a discount rate apply?
Contact reception directly to discuss group bookings.
